Damoiseau at Le Moule on Grande-Terre is the largest independent producer in Guadeloupe. The family took over the Bellevue estate in 1942, and the distillery makes rhum from both cane juice and molasses. Its output is widely exported and it markets white, aged and spiced rums alongside the usual blends. It is run by the founding family and sits in the sugar-growing flatlands of eastern Grande-Terre.
