The San Jose de las Lajas plant opened in 2007 as a main production site for Havana Club in Cuba. Havana Club is sold through a joint venture between the Cuban state company Cuba Ron and Pernod Ricard. The coordinates are approximate for the San Jose de las Lajas area. The older plant at Santa Cruz del Norte is the other main source of the brand, with each producing roughly half of the output in some accounts.
