The plantation at Sainte-Luce in southern Martinique is cited as dating to the seventeenth century. Its holding company BBS, which also owns La Mauny, was sold to Campari in 2019 for around 60 million euros. The distillery makes agricole rhum from cane grown nearby and is known for the Trois-Rivieres brand and its aged Rhum Vieux releases. The brand carries the Martinique AOC and has a long record in export markets.
