Richland Rum is a small estate distillery in Richland, southwest Georgia. The producer grows its own sugar cane and makes rum from Georgia cane syrup and juice, distilled in a copper pot still and aged in barrels in a rural warehouse. Production is limited, and sales are mostly in the southeastern US. The business has sought to emphasise the estate nature of the product, a rarity in American rum. The founding year is loosely confirmed.
