Tanduay traces itself to 1854, when a distillery was set up in the Tondo district of Manila, and it is among the oldest companies in the country. It is now owned by the Lucio Tan group and sells a very large volume of rum within the Philippines, mostly in white, gold and aged bottlings, with a premium range bottled under the Tanduay Heritage and Single Barrel names. The coordinates here are for the company's Makati head office, and production is at plants in Luzon and the Visayas.
