Uitvlugt was a sugar estate and distillery on the west coast of Demerara, closing around the end of the twentieth century. Some of its stills, such as the Port Mourant double wooden pot still, ended up at Diamond. The founding year given is approximate. Old Uitvlugt stocks reach drinkers mostly through independent bottlers and Velier releases from the late 1990s.
