Arehucas operates at Arucas on Gran Canaria, in a district long associated with sugar cane on the island. Production of the rum is dated by the company to 1884, with the aging cellars in the town forming part of its identity. It is the best known rum of the Canary Islands and the main label there, sold across Spain. The range runs from a bright white rum to honey-coloured and aged bottlings, with a well-known visitor centre at the distillery.
