Don Papa (Bleeding Heart Rum)

Don Papa launched in 2012 and is made from Negros cane, aged in oak at the foot of Mount Kanlaon near Bago City on the island of Negros. The brand takes its name from a local figure of the Philippine Revolution, and the cask-aged rum sells as a sweet, smooth bottling, plus a higher-proof Rye Cask and Sherry Cask edition. Whether all liquid is distilled at the brand's own site is not fully clear, so the confidence on the stills is limited.
