Worthy Park is a sugar estate in the Lluidas Vale of St Catherine, usually dated to 1720. Sugar and rum were made there for centuries, but distilling stopped in the 1960s. A new distillery opened in 2005, and the estate has since built its own brands while also selling to blenders. It grows the cane it distils, and some bottlings use fresh cane juice rather than molasses, which is unusual in Jamaica.
